The Kolleg der Künste Montepulciano was established by the NRW Ministry for Culture and Science with the seven Art and Music Universities of NRW, Germany. Students of these institutions can participate in artistic interdisciplinary and research projects with the aim to further enhance their individual curriculum. While each institution can also conduct separate residencies, they also collaborate specifically on unique projects ranging from the guided courses of the »SummerLab« to specially selected independent residencies (»Students in Residence«) to the »Laboratory of Arts« of all seven institutions together.
