Edirom & Co. – Digitale Editionen und Werkzeuge im Open Access

 

Seit rund zwei Jahrzehnten werden am Musikwissenschaftlichen Seminar Detmold/Paderborn digitale Technologien für wissenschaftliche Noten-Editionen erforscht, entwickelt und angewendet. Mit dem Zentrum Musik – Edition – Medien (ZenMEM) wurde Detmold zu einem zentralen Standort für den internationalen Kodierungsstandard der Music Encoding Initiative (MEI) sowie für die von Wissenschaft wie Musikverlagen verwendete Software „Edirom“. Auch als Ausbildungsstandort ist Detmold führend in diesem Bereich der Digital Humanities: Die laufend aus den Forschungsprojekten heraus angebotenen Lehrveranstaltungen richten sich an BA- und MA-Studierende aller Fachrichtungen. Darüber hinaus gibt es einen Master-Schwerpunktbereich „Digitale Edition“ und die jährliche „Edirom Summer School“ mit internationaler Reichweite.
